Multan to get Metro stations

MULTAN: Two metro stations will be constructed at a distance of 300 yards each from Shah Rukn Alam and Kumharan Wala chowks, situated around Madni intersection, said Sabir Sadozai, chief engineer and technical adviser of metro bus project, on Saturday.
People could use escalators and elevators to be installed on these stations for boarding bus as well as crossing the roads.
Sadozai said an underpass would be constructed at Vegetable Market also used for passing metro buses.
He added that common traffic would easily take u-turn over the underpass bridge to help people adopt alternative routes.
He said design for the construction of underpass at Madni intersection, New Multan had been prepared.
