Azma assails PTI govt over Sahiwal incident
LAHORE: PML-N Punjab spokesman Azma Bukhari said the accused involved in Sahiwal incident were acquitted because present government didn’t pursue the case.
Talking to media Wednesday, Azma said the nation wanted to know how the bullets were fired from above if the firing took place from the front. “Aristotle of Punjab gives a speech on the tragedy of Model Town but what has this government done on the Model Town case for three years?” she questioned. Azma claimed that Usman Bazdar Punjab has surrendered before Imran Khan as he was not capable of taking the budget of Punjab from the federation.
“Hamza Shahbaz's case is already under investigation in NAB and he was in jail. Now why the FIA is calling him in the same case,” Azma questioned further. She said the sugar commission was formed to check how the price of sugar went up.
The sugar mills of Sharif family and Hamza got closed but the mills of Imran friends remained open, she maintained.
