Sindh under Zardari dictatorship: Fawad
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry Tuesday said Zardari dictatorship had been established in Sindh, as he referred to the ‘silencing of voice of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly.
“As the voice of the opposition was silenced in the Sindh Assembly, my opinion that the Zardari dictatorship has been established in Sindh has become more mature,” he tweeted. “The Ministry of Information has completed payment of Rs700 million to the media houses as per the instructions of the prime minister. These arrears had not been paid for a long time,” he said in another statement.
These payments have reduced the financial problems of media workers, he noted and said the institutions had been protected adding that they were abusive if they had not paid salaries.
