PHF bans Olympian for five years

LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has banned and fined players for fighting in the Chief Minister’s Balochistan Gold Cup semi-final.
A five-year ban and a fine of Rs200,000 has been imposed on Olympian Shafqat Rasool, a one-year ban and a fine of Rs100,000 on National Bank captain Emad Shakeel Butt.
Muhammad Haseeb, Kashif Shah and Kamran Riaz have been banned for two years. They will also pay fines of Rs100,000 each. Punjab coach Mujahid Afzal was also banned for two years and fined Rs 100,000.
