PM always commits mistake on Kashmir, says Bilawal
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Saturday said the PPP’s policy about Kashmir is that the people of Kashmir will decide their own future.
“Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s slogan was that self-determination of Kashmiris is the only slogan for Kashmiris. Quaid-e-Awam used to say that he cannot err on Kashmir even in his sleep but whenever this puppet selected prime minister talks about Kashmir in the Parliament, he always commits a mistake,” Bilawal said while addressing a public gathering at Kotli as part of election campaign.
Bilawal said the PPP was formed on the issue of Kashmir and that journey is still continuing.
“We learnt from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto that if need be we will fight for a thousand years for Kashmir. We learnt from Shaheed Benazir Bhutto that we will shed our blood where Kashmiris shed their sweat,” he said.
Bilawal termed Prime Minister Imran Khan a "security risk" for the country following his stance on the need for a nuclear programme. “Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who gave the atom bomb, Benazir Bhutto who gave missile technology to the country were called security risks, but why is this puppet who says we don't need nuclear programmes, not a security risk?” he asked.
Bilawal said the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) are fighting against the tyranny of Modi and the people of Azad Kashmir are fighting against the economic crisis created by incapable Prime Minister Imran Khan. “This government is trying to impose taxes on your energy projects,” he told the gathering.
The PPP chairman said neither Afghanistan nor India or Bangladesh have the same inflation as much we have. He said the change Imran Khan has brought is poverty, inflation and unemployment.
Bilawal said Imran Khan is trying to rig this election in Kashmir because he himself is a production of rigged the elections. He said the PPP has done a lot for the common people.
“Whatever projects will be carried out in Kashmir, the PPP will be behind it,” he said.
Bilawal asked people not to believe the false promises by the government. “The PPP is the only party which has served the people and has solved the problems faced by the people,” he said.
The PPP chairman said Imran Khan had promised to provide 10 million jobs and five million houses, but he made thousands of people unemployed and snatched thousands of houses from the poor people.
