The bodies of a man and a teenage boy were found in gunny bags in different parts of the city on Saturday.
The body of a murdered man was found stuffed in a gunny bag under a Steel Town bridge. Police retrieved the corpse with the help of a crane, and took it Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for an autopsy. The man was identified as 35-year-old Din Muhammad, son of Pehlwan Khan.
Police, sharing the initial findings of an ongoing investigation, said unidentified persons had kidnapped the victim before killing and dumping his body at the desolate place.
Similarly, the body of a teenage boy, whose identity could be ascertained immediately, was discovered in a gunny bag in a plot in Kashmiri Muhallah within the limits of the Quaidabad police station.
The casualty was taken to the JPMC for an autopsy.
