PHC begins cleanliness week
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) is to observe cleanliness week from Monday to June 26.This is the third consecutive year that PHC has launched the cleanliness drive. The campaign was inaugurated by PHC Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan. The ceremony was attended by the Peshawar High Court Bar Association president, other office-bearers, principal officers and the court officers.
Speaking on the occasion, the PHC chief justice said it was our religious obligation to ensure a neat and clean environment. He said the purpose of this activity was to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness amongst the court staff, lawyers and people in general. The PHC chief justice added that the campaign would also be observed by the District Judiciary and its benches for which directives had been issued.
