Without internet

June 22, 2021

The Sindh government has changed the status of Kheme jo Par from village to town. This area has a population of more than 5,000 people. It is disappointing to see that the town is deprived of power supply. What is even scarier is that there is no supply of clean drinking water. Residents have to wait for days to receive a small amount of water. Also, there are no internet facilities in the area. As a result, during the Covid-19-induced lockdown, many students couldn’t attend their online classes.

It is time the authorities concerned paid attention to these problems and took effective steps to solve them.
