Proposal for one weekly off for Fesco staff

JHANG: Fesco Jhang division Deputy Manager Operations Syed Saleem Shah has directed the AMOs to provide maximum relief to the consumers.
Chairing a meeting here, he also directed them to speedup work on customer centres for expeditious disposal of consumers’ complaints. He said that a proposal was under consideration to cut down the weekly offs from two to one day for meter readers and distribution staff at the sub-division level to improve distribution of bills, recovery of dues and speed up action against the defaulters. He said that the efficient employees would be rewarded while the inefficient and lethargic employees would be kicked off from the company.
