DIG Maqsood Ahmed Memon, chief of the Security and Emergency Services Division of the Sindh police, has said a doorstep facility for police officers and their families has been initiated to administer Covid vaccines at their homes.
The decision has been made for the convenience of the families of police officers and other personnel so that they can be vaccinated and saved from the contagious coronavirus. Expressing his views, DIG Memon said on Wednesday police personnel performed duties round the clock in shifts, and sometimes it became difficult for them and their families to get vaccinated. In view of the fact, a doorstep facility of vaccination was being started, he added. The families of police officers and personnel can seek assistance, guidance and place appointments at the police helpline numbers.
