SSGC clinch Naya Nazimabad Football title

KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company won the Naya Nazimabad Football Tournament by defeating Civil Aviation Authority by 1-0 after an interesting and thrilling climax here at Naya Nazimabad Football Stadium on Saturday night.
The summit clash began with an aggressive approach from both sides. Both teams made several attempts to score but failed. The first half ended with out any goal being scored. In the 82nd minute of the game, Abdul Waheed produced the decisive goal of the final.
Before the final, a match was played between Media XI and Veterans XI which ended in a 5-5 draw. Bilal Hussain and Zahid Ghaffar both scored two goals each to help Media XI recover from 0-4 down to eventually draw the match.
