OKARA: Police Saturday seized a cache of wine.
On a tip-off, the B-Division police raided and arrested Muhammad Afzaal of Chak 5/4L and recovered 30 litres wine.
Sadr Okara police raided Chak 39/3R and arrested a man and recovered 28 litres wine. The accused was running a brewery at his home.
The Satghara police raided a house at village 18/GD to arrest a proclaimed offender (PO) identified as Irfan Bashir s/o Muhammad Bashir Arain, but the PO escaped before the arrival of the police. However, police arrested Ashraf and recovered 45 litres wine from his possession.
