Punjab Police on mission to wipe out Ladi gang: IG

LAHORE:Punjab Police and law enforcement agencies are working hard to eradicate the Ladi gang from the dangerous tribal area and protect the lives and property of the people.

Brave veterans of the Special Operations Unit of the Punjab Police, trained by SSG commandos, are busy in making history by clearing the ambush sites of the Ladi gang while at the same time fully supporting the BMP in the operation against the Ladi gang in the tribal area.

IG Punjab Inam Ghani is in constant touch with Additional IG South Punjab, RPO DG Khan and DPO DG Khan and also taking necessary updates on operations regularly and issuing necessary instructions. From DG Khan Police, DPO Umar Saeed Malik, SP Investigation, DSP Saddar Ejaz Ahmed Bukhari, DSP Nasir Ali Saqib and District Commander of Elite Police Force are taking part in operation against Ladi Gang.

According to details, BMP, Rangers and police forces launched the operation last night. Due to security reasons, the operation was kept secret. At present, teams are present around the ambush sites of Ladi gang. The police destroyed the hideouts of the Ladi gang and set them on fire.

Assisted by 04 bullet proof vehicles, 04 APC and 02 drone cameras and IT experts, the district police will take all possible steps to arrest the members of the Ladi gang. District Police Officer Umar Saeed Malik said that the mission, assigned by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Minister Punjab and IG Punjab, would be completed successfully. District Police would be on high alert at all times to protect the lives and property of the people. Efforts are being made and insha-Allah the culprits of Ladi gang will be brought to justice soon.
