Zeb Gohar Ayub laid to rest in Haripur

HARIPUR: Zeb Gohar Ayub Khan, wife of former speaker of the National Assembly Gohar Ayub Khan, was laid to rest at the family’s ancestral graveyard in Rehana village on Saturday. A large number of people including the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Governor KP Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan attended the funeral prayers. Zeb Gohar Ayub, who remained MNA during the rule of military dictator General Pervez Musharraf, died at a hospital in Islamabad after a long illness. Her Qul will be held tomorrow at 12:30pm at the residence of her son Omar Ayub Khan in Haripur.
