Dacoits loot Rs 8m from bank

MULTAN: Six robbers looted a bank on Shahrah-e-Rashid near the timber market on Friday. According to Qutabpur police, six dacoits entered the bank at 11:30am, took the staff hostage and made off with Rs 8 million. The robbers took only 8-10 minutes to complete the task. Police have registered a case.
It is the second dacoity in the bank during the last two years. In 2013, unidentified robbers had looted Rs 10 million from the bank.
