School named after APS martyr in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: The Government Higher Secondary School, Nisatta, was renamed as the Government Shahood Alam Higher Secondary School to pay homage to the martyr student of the Army Public School in Peshawar.
President of the Parents Forum of the martyr students of the APS Fazal Khan, District Nazim Fahad Riaz Khan, father of Shahood Alam, Dr Zahoor Alam, were also present on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, Zahoor Alam announced that he would provide financial support to 50 students to pursue their education.
He said that the Shahood Alam Trust would bear the education expenses of students and would support their families. The president of the Parents’ Forum said that they had boycotted the government functions on December 16 because the government had failed to fix responsibility for the attack.He demanded the constitution of a judicial commission to expose the internal and external elements involved.
