Over 100 suspects held in Hangu search operation

HANGU: The police arrested more than 100 suspected persons and seized arms from them in search operation here on Sunday, an official said. Talking to reporters, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rafiullah Khan said that the police launched massive search operation in different parts of the districts and arrested more than 100 suspected persons, including proclaimed offenders, and seized a huge cache of arms and drugs from their possession. He said that one Kalashnikov, two rifles, three pistols, cartridges and 20 kilograms of charas were seized from them. “Most of them were involved in kidnapping, murder and extortion,” the DSP said.
