Mini urban forest established in Hyderabad
SUKKUR: A mini urban forest has been established at the Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) with joint cooperation of the university and local administration Hyderabad to beautify the city.
Addressing on the occasion, the vice-chancellor, SAU, Dr Fateh Marri, said the establishment of a mini urban forest was a great initiative for providing healthy environment to the people, adding that he was grateful for the support of taluka administration for this initiative. He said the university has been providing academics and research along with various other opportunities for farmers and people to help themselves to develop the agriculture sector in the province as well as the country. He further added that it also provided recreational opportunities to the people and it will be a symbol of prosperity of the district.
