DCO for not approving plaza maps without parking lots

JHANG: DCO Nadir Chattha on Tuesday directed TMA Administrator/Additional District Collector Babar Rehman to take notice of construction of commercial buildings and plazas without parking lots and proper sewerage.
The DCO issued the orders after he was informed through public complaints that the TMA officials were allegedly allowing construction of commercial buildings and plazas without parking lots. He said that maps and layout plans of commercial buildings should not be approved without spearing parking areas.
APCA: Due to imposition of Section 144 in the district, the Apca converted its rally into a press conference here on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference at the press club, the Apca leaders in their speeches said that the KP government had implemented pay scales up-gradation but the Punjab government was lingering the matter. They alleged that the minimum pay had been fixed at Rs 13,000 per month but a large number of clerks and teachers were getting Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 per month. They announced that hundreds of clerks and teachers would participate in the Apca rally in Lahore on December 15.
