KARACHI: Pakistan’s Farhan Zaman faced a humiliating defeat at the hands of a low-ranked player in the semi-final of $10,000 Florida State Squash Open at Lifetime Athletic Club, Boca Raton, US, on Sunday.
Top seed Farhan was overpowered by qualifier Vikram Malhotra of India 14-12, 8-11, 11-8, 6-11, 5-11. Vikram is raked 277th, while Farhan is 64th in international rankings.
