Blind official appointed as polling officer

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A local returning officer appointed a blind official as polling officer for the local government election in Dera Ghazi Khan.
Muhammad Irfan, who is blind and an official at Special Education School, was ordered to perform election duty at a polling station in UC Peer Aadil.
However, the district returning officer cancelled the orders when a shocked Irfan brought the issue into his notice.
