PHC allocates land for lawyers’ offices

HARIPUR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel on Friday approved the allocation of a piece of land for the offices of lawyers in the under-construction judicial complex here.
He made the announcement while talking to lawyers during his visit to the under-construction building of the judicial complex. He expressed satisfaction over the construction work.
District and Sessions Judge Farhatullah, High Court Bar Association Abbottabad Bench President Javed Tanoli, District Bar Association President Khursheed Azhar and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking to the lawyers, Chief Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel said he had promised the representatives of lawyers from Haripur that all the problems being faced by the legal fraternity would be addressed.
The chief justice announced the allocation of a piece of land for the officers of the lawyers in the under-construction building of the judicial complex after a request was made to him.
Earlier, Khursheed Azhar drew the attention of the chief justice towards the problems of the lawyers and sought the allocation of a piece of land in the judicial complex for the offices of lawyers.
