Jahanzaib propels Multan into disabled T20 semis

KARACHI: Pakistan national disabled cricket team’s all-rounder Jahanzaib Tiwana smashed an unbeaten century and helped Multan record a convincing 74-run victory over Quetta to advance to the semi-finals of the ICRC National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship 2015 here at the National Stadium on Thursday.
Jahanzaib was declared Man of the Match for his 117 off only 59 balls with 12 boundaries and six sixes.
In another quarter-final, at RLCA Ground, Gulberg, Hyderabad stunned defending champions Lahore by 15 runs. Muhammad Zubair scored unbeaten 51 off 27 with six fours and two sixes.
Islamabad overpowered Peshawar by 25 runs to secure their place in the semi-finals. In the last quarter-final, hosts Karachi thrashed Rawalpindi by seven wickets.
