English essay competition held

HAFIZABAD: An English essay writing competition at tehsil level was held at the Government Model Higher Secondary School, Hafizabad.
District Education Officer (SE) Rai Muhammad Irshad Kharral was the chief guest of the ceremony.
A large number of students participated in the competition.
According to results, Muhammad Azeem got the first position, Waqar Hassan of Govt H.S.S Wanike Tarar obtained the second and Abdul Rehman student of DPS got the 3rd position.
Similarly, among girl students, Mubarra Ehsan student of Soffi Foundation got 1st position, Marya Javaid student of Govt Double section girls school obtained the 2nd position while Rabia Zafar student of Government Girls High School Bhoon Kalan obtained the 3rd position.
Addressing the ceremony, the DEO, Principal Main Inayat |Ullah, and renowned educationists addressed the participants.
Encroachments irk citizens: Citizens were facing a large number of troubles owing to increasing encroachments in the city. They demanded high-ups of the administration remove encroachments.
