OKARA: An additional sessions judge Tuesday directed the DPO to look into the plea of a PTI plea against police in accordance with law.
Azizullah Khan of Kot Nehal Singh had filed a plea with the court seeking registration of a case against B-Division SHO Sibghatullah and other cops who kept him in illegal detention and tortured him on October 31, 2015 when he visited the Cantt PS to provide food to PTI leader Ashraf Sohna and others.
He said the SHO kept him in illegal custody for six days and released him after getting his signature on a blank paper. The court directed the DPO to look into the matter and strictly proceed on against respondents in accordance with law.
