PROTEST AGAINST POLICE: Dozens of citizens Tuesday staged a demonstration against police for not issuing NOCs to them.
The protesters were of the view that they had applied for NOC from the police department regarding travelling abroad but police officials are not issuing the same to them and they have to pay daily visit to Police Lines for the purpose. They alleged that police officials were demanding bribe. After getting assurance about issuance of NOC from concerned police officers, the protesters dispersed peacefully.
