BoP manager shot dead

CHAKWAL: The Bank of Punjab Chakwal branch manager was shot dead at his residence at Mohallah Rehmania on Tuesday.
Muhammad Iqbal told police that his son Waseem Iqbal came back from the bank when two unidentified assailants knocked at his door and shot him dead when he came out. Waseem had two wives and was residing with his second wife. His father suspected that relatives of Waseem’s first wife were behind the killing. Reportedly, brothers and father of his first wife were threatening him of dire consequences.
BIKER DIES IN ACCIDENT: A motorcyclist was killed in an accident near Bochal Kalan village on Chakwal-Khushab Road on Tuesday.
Lal Din and his 20-year-old daughter were moving on the motorcycle when a speeding truck hit them, leaving Lal Din dead on the spot and his daughter wounded critically.
