BAHAWALPUR: A student of the Government College of Technology (GCT) was shot dead on Tuesday.
Sohail Asghar was sitting at a shop of a mechanic when Hamza Chaudhry and Saifi Shah allegedly came and shot him dead near Bahawalpur railway station. After the killing hundreds of students of the GCT and other colleges staged a protest outside the Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) and demanded arrest of the killers.
MAN STRANGLED: A man was strangled on Tuesday. Afzal of Chak 17 Gajjyani was strangled in the area of Sadr Chishtian police station.
ROBBERS INJURE MAN, SON: Robbers Tuesday shot at and injured a father and his son for resisting the dacoity bid. Two robbers stormed a general store in the Disposal Mohallah in Qaimpur and shot at and injured a man and son for putting up resistance. Later, the dacoits entered a nearby cattle shed and injured its owner critically. The injured were shifted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital.
