KASUR: A brick kiln owner and his workers were deprived of cash in Chak No 17, Changa Manga on Friday.
Eight robbers snatched Rs 700,000 and several cellphones from Muhammad Usman, his son and other workers, who were present at the brick kiln, in the area of Changa Manga police.
LABOURER ELECTROCUTED: A labourer was electrocuted at an under construction house situated at Old Mandi in the limits of Pattoki police on Friday.
Munir Ahmed of Chak No 7 of Pattoki was working when he touched an electric wire and suffered an electric shock and died on the spot.
