PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday suspended the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council (KPBC) decision about re-polling on the slot of Kohat District Bar Association’s president. A two-member bench comprising Justice Irshad Qaiser and Justice Qalandar Ali Khan also restored Malik Emad Azam as the elected president of Kohat Bar Association till the next order of the court. The court also issued notice to the KP Bar Council, Pakistan Bar Council and federal government in the writ petition filed against the decision of the KP Bar Council to declare an elected president of the Kohat Bar Association due to his less than 10 years experience as a high court lawyer.
