Arrangements finalised to hold 2nd phase of LG polls

GUJRANWALA: The arrangements have been completed in Gujranwala to hold 2nd phase of the local government elections scheduled to be held today (Thursday).
The election commission, district administration and police have completed their arrangements.
Army and Rangers personnel will patrol the polling stations, especially the sensitive ones.
Rangers troops have reached Gujranwala and a flag march of Rangers was held on GT Road, Gujranwala.
About 1,810 polling stations and 4,933 polling booths have been set up in the district where 2,421,072 voters would cast their votes.
Polling material was handed over to the Presiding Officers on November 18th by the District Returning Officer.
