Dacoits kill professor on resistance

JHANG: An assistant professor was killed and his wife was injured on resistance by two dacoits here on Monday.
Azhar Khan Sial, an assistant professor at the Government Postgraduate College, and his wife Misbah, who was the Government Girls High School headmistress, were on way home when the dacoits intercepted them near Samanabad on Jhang-Bukhar Road and tried to rob them, but they resisted. It infuriated the dacoits and they shot at and injured them. The injured couple was shifted to the DHQ Hospital where Azhar died. Kotwali police have started investigation.
