Businessman strangled by partner in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: A businessman was killed by his partner and three others in Ghulam Muhammadabad police limits.
Khalid Mehmood reported to police that his brother Shahid Ali and Khurram Shahzad were business partners. He said that there was a monetary dispute between Shahid Ali and his business partner Khurram Shahzad. He said that Khurram Shahzad and others had sent Qasim Ali to pick Shahid Ali to finalise a deal for purchase of rice. Shahid Ali went with Qasim and reached a place where Khurram, Shaista and others were already present and they allegedly strangled Shahid. Police have registered a case against the accused under Section 302 of the PPC and arrested the main accused, Khurram Shahzad, while the others are still at large.

In an application, Noor Ahmad Akram alleged that the Elite Force Jawans illegally entered his house and abducted his son Rizwan Akram after torturing him. He said that some of them were equipped with arms and carrying wireless sets in their hands.
