DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Wapda employees on Monday staged a sit-in against the proposed privatisation of the Wapda here. The Wapda employees under the leadership of Wapda Hydro Electric Labour Union staged a sit-in in front of the Mepco office on New College Road besides observing pen-down strike on the same issue. The protestors chanted slogans against the proposed privatisation of the Wapda and other power companies and vowed that they would resist against the decision. They vowed to continue their strike till with drawl from the decision. They also threatened that power supply of the Parliament and other important buildings would be disconnected if their demands were not accepted.
