5 suspects held with weapons

KASUR: The district police on Sunday arrested five suspected persons and recovered illicit weapons from them during a search operation.
On the orders of DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi, different police teams conducted search operations at Dafto village and Nizampura village and arrested five suspects, including two proclaimed offenders, and recovered illegal weapons from them. The police claimed that seven snatched motorcycles were also recovered during the search operation.
BODY FOUND: The dead body of a girl was found near Parnavan Bridge on Sunday.
Some passers-by spotted the body of a woman, who was later identified as Asma of Nankana, an owner of a parlour in Lahore. According to the police, the victim was shot dead by some unidentified accused. The motive behind the murder is still not ascertained.
