QUETTA: Police team foiled a sabotage bid and defused improvised explosive devices (IED) at Joint Road area of the provincial capital on Saturday. A spokesman for police said acting on a tip-off, police team along with bomb disposal squad, reached the site and defused 4kg IED, which was hidden in a water cooler which had been kept at Brewery Cross Check Post near Joint Road by unknown men for a sabotage act. Further probe was underway.
