Medicine distribution centre sealed in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD: The district drug controlling authority has sealed a medicine distribution centre and initiated a case against another for keeping drugs in unhygienic conditions.
The health officials headed by Drug Inspector Syed Aqib Shah inspected different medical stores and distribution centres in Abbottabad.
The officials sealed Pharma Net distributor due to absence of qualified staff and supplying drugs to unlicensed pharmacies.
The drug inspector also initiated a case under Drug Act against Imran Brothers Chemist for not having qualified staff while a show cause notice was issued to Healthways Pharmacy for unhygienic storage.
