OKARA: A speeding truck Wednesday killed a man. Tariq Mehmood, son of Muhammad Ayub Hussain of Hazrat Karmanwala locality came out of a mosque on the GT Road and was hit by a truck and died on the spot.
The Sadr Okara police registered a case.
WINE RECOVERED: Police Wednesday recovered wine from two drug peddlers.
The Basirpur police raided the house of Muhammad Aslam at Guruwali village and arrested him and recovered 135 litre wine.
The Haveli police raided and arrested Sukhi Muhammad and recovered more than one kilogramme Charas.
