OKARA: Lesco workers Monday protested the registration of a case against 14 Wapda employees by the SDO city sub-division. All Lesco offices situated in the city remained closed. The protesters demanded withdrawal of the case against their colleagues. They termed the case as false and baseless and a strong-arm tactic to coerce the workers. The protesters warned of continuing the strike if the FIR was not withdrawn.
PR INSPECTION: The Pakistan Railways General Manager, Lahore, Federal Railway Inspector, Chief Engineer (open track) and Divisional Superintendent, Lahore Monday conducted annual inspection from Sahiwal to Lahore and inspected double railway track, level crossings on railway section from Sahiwal to Lahore and stations’ buildings. The PR team lauded services of the local officials for their services.
