Likeminded to give tough time to PML-N in Chakwal Dist Council

CHAKWAL: Jamaat-e-Islami district ameer Prof Hameedullah Malik has said that likeminded political forces will show excellent results against the PML-N in the District Council and four municipal committee seats of Chakwal district.
He said this while addressing a function organised by him in the honour of newly-elected councillors, chairmen and vice-chairmen of the area at Darbatta village on Sunday. PTI district organiser Raja Yasir Sarfraz, PML-Q district chief Hafiz Ammar Yasir, ex-district council member Malik Zahid, Ali Nasir Bhatti, ex-district naib nazim Malik Naeem Tariq and ex-MPA Sultan Surkhru were also present. Hafiz Amaar Yasir told that the chairman of the Talagang Municipal Committee would be ours and we would show the strength at the District Council level in the next three days. Raja Yasir Sarfraz told that the PTI with the help of likeminded political forces would contest against the PML-N candidates.
Meanwhile an independent candidate Faisal Shabbir joined PML-N, who won the LG polls from the Municipal Committee Ward No 12, on Sunday announced to join the PML-N.
Newly-elected councillor from Ward No 13 Ch Sajjad Ahmad was also present during the announcement. It is pertinent to mention here that the PML-N has already won 21 seats out of 37 from the Municipal Committee Chakwal and already enjoying simple majority in the house.
