Drug peddlers held

OKARA: Police arrested drug peddlers from different areas and recovered a heavy quantity of wine from them here on Thursday.
On a tip-off, the Haveli Lakha police raided and arrested Muhammad Asif of village Amlekay Suhag and recovered 30 litres of wine. Police also arrested another drug peddler Muhammad Ajmal and recovered 30 litres wine from him. Meanwhile, Hujra Shah Moqeem police arrested two more drug pushers identified as Ashiq Hussain of Mohallah Sheikhupura, Hujra Shah Moqeem and recovered 395 gram charas from him. The police arrested drug peddler Yousaf Ali and recovered 310 gram charas from his possession.
