KARACHI: Punjab, accumulating 75 points, finished on top of the podium, while Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa secured second position in Inter-Provincial Women Judo Championship, which concluded on Thursday in Lahore.
Punjab judokas clinched four gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa players won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
The decision to separate the two top teams, each having secured identical 75 points, was taken on the basis of higher number of gold medals. Meanwhile, FATA claimed third position with 30 points.
