OKARA: The District Bar Association members on Monday observed a complete strike against the City B-Division police for trespassing on the house of DBA member Fayyazul Haq on the polling day who was contesting LG polls on PTI ticket in MC Ward No 17.
The police claimed that Fayyazul Haq and his workers allegedly quarrelled with the polling staff and broke ballot boxes and tore ballot papers. Meanwhile, DBA president Ch Aslam Javed told The News that the DBA observed the strike only against the illegal entry of the police in the house of the bar member. He said that the DBA had no concern with the other issues. Meanwhile, the PTI workers protested against the arrest of PTI leader Ashraf Sohna.
