KARACHI: The 23rd edition of Maple Leaf Cement Pakistan ITF Seniors World ranking tennis championship 2015 commences on Monday (today) at Bagh-e-Jinnah tennis courts in Lahore.
Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA) secretary general Rasheed Malik, who is also the tournament director, said that ten Indian and two French players would participate in this seven-day event.
Arif Qureshi, who is a White Badge ITF referee, will be the chief referee. The tournament will be contested in different age categories, from 35 to 65.
On Sunday, one Indian player Prasad Atpe reached Lahore and started practice at the tournament venue. It is expected that all Indian players will reach Lahore by Tuesday (tomorrow).
