SWABI: An additional district and sessions judge escaped unhurt and her driver was killed when unidentified assailants ambushed her vehicle in the jurisdiction of Zaida Police Station here on Sunday, sources said.
The sources said that Additional District and Sessions Judge Haripur, Hina Khan along with her mother and sister was on her way home in Adena village when unidentified gunmen sprayed her car with bullets at Ranradheri village. Her driver identified as Sarwar Shah was killed on the spot while she and her mother and sister escaped unhurt.
The assailants escaped the scene after committing crime. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the District Headquarters Hospital in Swabi. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained.
