PML-N youth wing dist chief injured by PTI men

HAFIZABAD: The PML-N Youth Wing district president was injured by the firing of two PTI candidate and 15 workers at Mohallah Sharifpura.
PML-N Youth Wing district president Tariq Javed Dohtar, who is also a candidate for general councillor slot at Ward No-15, was sitting in the house of his friend when some PTI workers, including two councillor candidates Rana Adil Hussain and Rai Fiaz, came there and allegedly shot at and injured him. He was shifted to the DHQ Hospital. City police have registered a case against 17 accused, including Rana Adil Hussain, Rai Fiaz, former naib nazim Attiq Ashraf and Iftikhar alias Khara.
WOMAN MURDERED: A woman was killed while her brother-in-law was injured by some people at Samra village near Kale Mandi on Thursday.
Khurshid Bibi’s son Azhar had allegedly developed relations with Ansar’s sister. On the day of the incident, Ansar along with his accomplices came to the house of Azhar and allegedly opened indiscriminate firing. As a result, Azhar’s mother Khurshid Bibi was killed on the spot while her brother-in-law Riaz Ahmad was injured seriously. Police are investigating.
