Heavy arms, explosives seized in Hangu

HANGU: Security forces seized huge quantity of arms and explosives in Thall tehsil of Hangu district on Saturday, official sources said.
The sources said that acting on a tip-off, the security forces raided a hideout of the militants in Dolragha village and seized a huge quantity of arms including dozens of anti-aircraft guns, scores of rocket shells, mortar shells, machineguns and hundreds of cartridges and 30 kilogram of explosives.
The seized arms and explosives were also shown to the media. An official said that apparently the militants had planned to carry out terror act during the Muharram.
