CFU made to control law, order in Kasur

KASUR: DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi has said that Crime Fighting Unit (CFU) has been made to control law and order situation in the district.
He said this while addressing a function held in connection of recruitment of 435 crime fighters from the district police stations at the Police Lines here on Friday. The DPO said that the CFU had been established first time in the history of Kasur district. He said that ID cards had been distributed among the newly recruited cops. The main purpose to establish the unit was to make crime fighters who could control and eliminate criminals. The DPO said that crime fighters would provide necessary information to the concerned policemen about different crimes to control them. The police DSPs including Saleem Warraich and Mirza Arif Rasheed were also present.
