DERA GHAZI KHAN: Though police are still clueless about the terrorists involved in the suicide attack at the camp office of MNA Sardar Muhammad Amjad Farooq Khan Khosa, the Multan Counter-Terrorism Department has registered a case under Sections 302, 324, 780 and 3/4 Explosives Act against the unidentified accused.
Police are not clear whether the target of the suicide attacker was the MNA or someone else. The police officials claimed that it had found the head from the camp office, which was believed to be of the suicide attacker. They said that they would seek help from the Nadra for his identification. They said that the age of the suicide attacker could be between 20 to 22 years. Meanwhile, the Civil Defence Department, investigation wing of police and the CTD officials kept on collecting the evidences from the blast site on Thursday.
Sardar Muhammad Amjad Farooq Khan Khosa, who has been elected as an MNA for the third time, is popular among the people and moves without security. Most of the time, he is accompanied by a driver while travelling in the tribal area as well as the far-flung areas of his constituency bordered with the KP.
The MNA has made it clear that he has no enmity and the masses regard him for his development works. It must be mentioned that the MNA’s family is settled in Dera Ghazi Khan city while due to his popularity, he is elected from the constituency from where he does not belong.
On the other hand, traders observed a complete strike against the suicide attack in Taunsa Sharif. All the markets remained closed against the incident.
