FAISALABAD: The Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT) put the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) at the 87th position among the 100 top universities of the world.
The ranking was announced by the National Taiwan University (NTU) on October 10, 2015 as the UAF has shown tremendous result on the subject of agriculture.
The UAF was awarded 56.2 quality points in the subject category of agriculture and it surpassed renowned universities such as University of California, Berkeley, USA, University of Oxford, University of Leeds, University of Nottingham, University of Toronto, University of Auckland, University of California, Los Angeles, Kyoto University, Colombia University, University of Kentucky and University of Zurich.
Earlier, in the latest QS World University Ranking, the UAF has secured 85th position worldwide in the subject of Agriculture and Forestry against the last year ranking at 137 position.
In the National Taiwan University Global Ranking , in During 2014, it attained 97th position worldwide and in the Asia Pacific it was standing at 20th position. Moreover, the UAF has grabbed 25th position worldwide as per UI Green Metric World University Ranking in the category of specialized higher education institutions.
